JOE I LIKE YOU! bravo for speaking the truth, it seems that conservative
momentum is finally building up, the Obama liberal chateau which lacked
foundation is finally starting to crumble, middle class Americans and
non-illegals (ie normal citizens) can’t be silenced any longer. Heated
healthcare debates are just a foretaste of how loud we will get if anyone
dares proposing ‘amnesty’ to illegals in 2010…
@bravoJOE: You have the mind of a defective marmot. Your inability to read and understand the text of the proposed law (aka “House Bill”) certainly explains your support of a racist bigot like Joe Wilson. Your threat to get “loud” has already been carried out by others of your type, shouting down elected officials who have attempted to explain health care reform proposals.
The only people who oppose health care reform in the USA are bigots, health insurance company employees (and especially upper management), and idiots. there’s a fair amount of overlap between the first and third groups.
Here’s something for you to consider (not that I think you will, but there may be some readers capable of actual rational cogitation): Joe Wilson violated the rules of the House of Representatives, as well as basic rules of courtesy, in such a blatant way that even top GOP officials were shocked and dismayed by his behavior. He demonstrated contempt for the President of the United States, an attitude which is highly prevalent among Communists and terrorists.
There are also rumors that he is involved in an assassination plot with Glenn Beck, planning to murder President Obama. Of course, there are also rumors that both Wilson and Beck have a history of child molestation, but that is a far lesser crime.
To Joe Wilson: Have You No Decency, Sir? At Long Last, Have You No Sense of Decency?
Why did the democrats not want a provision in the bill requiring PROOF of citizenship? Hmmmmm? Obama started calling people liars from the pulpit first in that room. That is very unpresidential and HE needs to be censured.

It seems to me that the political positions in this country have flown in the face of 20th century facts. Historically, one would expect that the “liberals” would be for free speech, 1st amendment rights, an opinionated and active electorate while the “right wing” would be for repression and constraint of speech. Today the so-called liberals are the fascists, threatening anyone who speaks out against their agenda, while the right wing is for free speech, an active and participatory electorate and true representaive government. Let’s change the definitions and the labels, so we can truly understand what is going on here. And so our children will have a clear picture of who the political antecedents of this current White House regime really are.

Free speech does not mean yelling out names at the president in front of congress and the world. Seriosly, who would approve of that? A child is not allowed to yell that out to a neighbor, teacher, parent, etc, why would anyone think it is OK for Wilson to do it at the PRESIDENT OF THE US?
@tk – You are demanding that we adopt a national id system? You think “you must carry your papers with you at all times” is a libertarian concept?
The cost of a pointless ‘proof of citizenship’ would deny health care to far too many citizens. It was tried just 3 years ago.
You guys don’t believe that Obama is a natural born citizen! How is anyone going to be able to offer absolute PROOF that they are a citizen?
