I love the way 'journalists' add your comments to others so as to appear they made the entire statement as you wrote it "no vote to deny disaster relief to thousands of victims of Hurricane Katrina. " King, along with Congresswoman Foxx and nine other representatives dared to take a stand against the unaccountable corruption that was sure to come from a carte blance gift of fifty one billion dollars. Did you see where that money ended up? No, and neither did most anyone else. I spoke to Congresswoman Foxx directly about her vote. There was no specific designation for the money nor any form of accountability. Without either, she could not commit taxpayers money. No one ever expected just how accurate she would be. Thank you Representatives King, Foxx and nine others for having the guts to say no. If only there were more of you perhaps someone would ask where the nearly trillion dollars of stimilus is really going.
