Charles Manson disciple Susan Atkins dies in prison

September 25, 2009

California (ChattahBox) — Convicted murderer Susan Atkins, a disciple of of 1960s cult leader Charles Manson jailed nearly forty years ago for some of the most notorious murders in US history, has died in prison, at the age of 61. Early this month Atkins,  who was terminally ill with brain cancer had been denied her 18th bid for parole for the last time. Atkins was convicted in 1971 of taking part in seven “Manson Family” murders, including that of heavily pregnant actress Sharon Tate, the wife of filmmaker Roman Polanski. Her death sentence was commuted to life in prison in 1972, when the California Supreme Court abolished capital punishment. Atkins will next be eligible for parole in 2012.

On that fateful night, Manson told his brain washed family that it was ‘time for Helter Skelter’. Named after a Beatles’ song that he believed contained a hidden prophesy of the coming Apocalypse, Helter Skelter was his plan to create a race war. He directed four of his followers, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, Leslie Van Houten, and Tex Watson, to the home of Sharon Tate who was hosting a party with somel high profile Hollywood people .The four killed Tate, her unborn child, Abigail Folger, Wojciech Frykowski, Jay Sebring, and Steven Parent and scrawled the word “Pig” in blood on the front door before leaving. The next night several members of The Family, including a few from the night before, as well as Manson himself, slaughtered Leno and Rosemary LaBianca.

I’m sorry for the Tate, Polanski, Sebring, Folger, Parent ,Frykowski and La Bianca families. These people were innocent victims at home bothering no one when they were viciously and brutally murdered. The fact that Paul Polanski was not allowed to draw his first breath was most heinous. Susan Atkins may have to her mind repented and found God but then most murderers do. Her death compared to the above was less brutal and I’m sure less painful as most cancer paitients receive morphine to ease the pain. Unlike the victims of flight 103 who saw their loved ones murderer go home under compassionate grounds in this case justice was well served My compassion goes to the innocent victims and their families there is something wrong when a totally umcompassionate murderer is allowed to snub the families by asking for release to go home to die. They chose their path and like Susan Atkins they should die in prison for the very crime they committed no exceptions.

I but now that the families Susan had caused so much pain to as well as Sharon family. Can breathe now. Even though they all will never forget this awful crime that Susan had commited. The pain that Susan had caused will linger on and on for ever. I feel no pain for Susan never knowing where her son was at. This is best for the child also. It was best for him to know that his mother just dumped him off some where and that was that. I just hope the records will never be unsealed. Now no one will ever have to worry of her getting a free get out of jail card again. Susan got just what was comming to her and I have no sympathy for a person like her at all. I hope god will be with all of the families she had caused pain to so they can move on and deal with all of the pain they have has to suffer because of Susan.

Good……another piece of human shit is out of the spot light. I have as much compassion for her as she had for Sharon Tate and her unborn child.
