Marie - Thank you for proving, once again, that so many against healthcare reform have no understanding of how it would work, the current plan being presented, or the way it will likely turn out. I won't even point out why your comment was stupid, but I will ask that you perhaps do some actual research, and not just listen to Joe Wilson and Glenn Beck.

I have enough trouble paying for health insurance for my family. Why should I buy insurance for a foreigner, or an individual who is too lazy to get a job and buy their own. I have worked hard for everything I have. I do not feel entitled to everything someone else has. They earned, they keep it. Get over yourself and stop using the welfare system as a job.

For an interesting little fact, I read an article that places the United States as the 37th best country regarding health care. I read it a very informative and unbiased article written by a panel of medical professionals and doctors. http://www.ourblook.com/component/option,com_sectionex/Itemid,200076/id,8/view,category/#catid107
It really leaves room for personal thought. However, it is a shame that insurance companies and the lack of solid information and communication technologies is holding us back. Treatment based care should be a thing of the past. With a large push in the country to move toward healthier living, and emphasis on diet and exercise, and organic food growing on the market, why are fighting change. With preventative care being the most cost effective form of health care it is time for the US to wake up and notice a good thing happening, change is scary, but often necessary.

I understand it. The USA has the highest percentage of superstitious ignoramouses of all the industrialized nations; there are more people in the USA who deny the obvious facts presented by science than all other industrialized nations combined.

It's easy to lead stupid, superstitious, ignorant people around by the nose. Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh demonstrate that every day. Pol Pot did it in Southeast Asia. Kim Il Jong does it in North Korea. The only real difference is the motive behind it; Limbaugh and Beck do it for money, at the behest of large insurance companies and the tobacco industry.
