U.S. Prepares For Possible Economic Isolation Plan Against Iran

September 29, 2009

U.S. (ChattahBox) – The Obama administration is creating a plan that would isolate Iran economically if they refuse to negotiate on their nuclear program.

According to White House sources, the plan would target various Iranian companies, especially insurance and reinsurance businesses, from conducting trade through key hubs, such as Hong Kong and the UAE.

It would also work to discourage international companies from trading as freely with Iran, effectively damaging their economy, but not enough to create a severe problem.

It is hopes that the push will be enough to curb the country’s obsession with building a nuclear weapon, which they still deny despite the overwhelming evidence of their attempts.

The plan is being created in response to tension that has arisen from the region, which has just test fired a missile that would be capable of reaching Israel, and various parts in Europe.

They were also found to have a secret uranium-enrichment facility that was previously unknown by the United Nations.
