Thank God – finally someone who is telling the reality of the horrors of our the current state of this nation’s healthcare system. What is going on with the Democratic Party? Where is your backbone.

As a person who had been employed full-time yet had no health care insurance, I personally know the fear and worry that goes through the minds of the uninsured. I am very fortunate that I did not have minor children to worry about and am blessed to now have a job with decent healthcare benefits although the premiums are a little steep. It’s all well to jump on the Republicans’ side when you have good healthcare benefits but for those who don’t, try showing a little more compassion. But, Alan Grayson is so right. Whether it is healthcare, defense of this nation or how to clip a hangnail, the Republicans would denounce any solution President Obama had.

At least some of our representatives aren’t afraid to tell it like it is.

[...] Surely that is the hope of Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT). After he announced yesterday his willingness to join Republicans in filibustering the public option out of the Senate healthcare bill, all eyes were on him. It made me wonder if he was a little jealous of all the attention poured on Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME) recently. [...]
