‘Recently, Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA), referred to Pelosi, as one of the “domestic enemies of the Constitution,” which he said he pledged to defend against when joining the U.S. Marines.’

Funny that he didn’t oppose the highly illegal and unconstitutional actions of the Bush Administration: Torture of POWs, warrantless wiretaps of US citizens, unlawfully detaining US citizens without trial or recourse to legal counsel, and on and on.

Or perhaps he only chooses to “defend” the Constitution when it’s conveninet, like all the other whores pretending to be patriots.

I sure hope this was an opinion piece and not considered as ‘news’. It’s been at least a day since I’ve read so much left wing drivel.

Maybe Pelosi should read THE CHANGING FACE OF DEMOCRATS about the loss of our Libertarian Roots and the history of the Democratic Party. America’s first major political Party changed from a libertarian party of Jefferson to Cleveland to a Rousseau to Marx-leaning liberal, left-wing party. The Democratic Party’s original ideals encouraged free markets, individual freedom, state’s rights and personal sovereignty. What happened? When and how did their policies begin to change? Why did a strongly patriotic party morph into one that blends communism, mercantilism and socialism? Whether you are Democrat or Republican, this narration is a study of history, fact, and the leadership that altered the Democratic Party. It shows that present day Democratic values do not reflect the true principles on which American society rests. Pelosi is a DSA member and obviously rejects the original values of the early Democratic Party.
