    Drunk driving convictions should carry a three-strike penalty:
    First offense, permanent loss of driver’s license and 5 years at hard labor.
    Second offense, 15 years hard labor.
    Third offense, life without parole.

    Driving while intoxicated is a willful and deliberate game of Russian Roulette, involving other unwilling people; it’s use of a deadly weapon without a clear target, or any excuse to do so.
