Woman Scorned Hatches Plot To Kill Mistress’ Baby

December 5, 2009

New York (ChattahBox) – In a story that seems as though it belongs in a trashy novel rather than real life, a woman who found out her husband had gotten another woman pregnant tried to trick the mother-to-be into killing her unborn son.

Keisha Jones, a 38-year-old mother of four had no idea her husband had had a three year affair with Monique Hunter.

But when the 25-year-old, who didn’t know Anthony Jones was married, became pregnant, the whole story came out.

Jones started to hatch a plan.

She started by calling Hunter and pretending to be from her doctor’s office. She told her that she needed to take a medication to make sure her child didn’t have down syndrome.

The medication was for cytotec, a stomach ulcer medication that can induce an abortion. The seven-month pregnant Hunter went to the pharmacy where instructed and picked up the medication, though there are no details on why the pharmacy gave her the monitored prescription drug.

She went into premature labor, and her son, Anthony Jr. was born dangerously early.

However, he was healthy and doing just fine. Jones decided it couldn’t end there.

She called the hospital and told Hunter that she was sending some breastmilk, then sent an unknown man with two bottles of milk, laced with a chemical. The hospital became suspicious and called police, while testing was done on the containers of milk.

Jones has been arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and forging a medical prescription. The unknown man is being sought, but police do not believe it to have been Anthony Jones Sr.
