Men Now Allowed As Prostitutes In Nevada, Sex Work Officials Concerned
December 14, 2009
Nevada (ChattahBox) – In what is one of the more amusing attempts at moral outrage this year, the Nevada Brothel Owners Association is shaking their finger at the decision to allow men to become legal sex workers in Nevada brothels, catering to either male or female clients.
Bobbi Davis of the Shady Lady Ranch has been lobbying to add men to her staff for years, and now she has gotten what she wants.
Most would think this is a no-brainer; if you can pay for sex with women with the condition of regular STD checks and the use of protection, why not with men?
But George Flint, a former pastor in the Assemblies of God church denomination, has actually likened the decision to the “Pearl Harbor” of the pay-for-love industry.
Despite the fact they house hookers that make a living through having sex with those willing to pay, the Brother Owners Association is apparently appalled that the good, wholesome name of the bump and grind for dollars is being exploited in this way.
We’ve worked hard for years to make the traditional brothel business in this state socially acceptable and something we can be proud of that most Nevadans accept. We have some concerns that this can be diluted by what Ms. Bobbi Davis wants to try … It was inevitable with Pearl Harbor we’d have a problem there someday, and we’ve known this would be a problem, too.”
Far be it from us to sully the good name of prostitution, Pastor.

Why are we even discussing this? If one were to look at Nevada’s laws on their state website, prostitution is explicitly illegal. So why are we allowing women to do it let alone consider whether men should be allow to sell themselves or not?

Prostitution is only illegal in counties with a population of over 400,000 in Nevada. Clark county…which has Las Vegas in it, is the only one that has a population greater than 400k in Nevada.Other Counties may choose to allow or deny prostitution.
Surprised that someone hasn’t been sued before for sexual discrimination or some such nonsense. Definitely in the ‘Special Interest’ category.
Having male prostitutes is entirely fair, moral, and it should be legal.
