LesHeight, Have you been listening to what is happening around the country? Scott Brown is giving Coakley a run for her money. It wasn't supposed to be that way. SHE was the sure thing. No need to worry about a nobody like Scott Brown.
This is not the same country it was a year ago. The people sleep no more. We will see the patriots, the ones you call nobodies, raise up, lift their collective voices and freedom will reign once more.

The reason Teabaggers, Conservatives and Republicans hate Rep. Grayson so much is that he uses their own tactics against them.

The funniest thing is the commentators here deluding themselves that he is going to lose to some political nobody the GOP dug up to run against him when all the legitimate local candidates were too scared to face him.

When ever we hear Grayson speak we know we better take cover, because he is going to spew out nastiness. He brings this attention on himself and I know he loves it. Well, all it has done is give us fuel and the determination to vote him out. I myself have found one that is strong enough to stand up to his childish trantrums. That person is Patricia Sullivan and I look forward to November when we get to say bye, bye Grayson. It gives me a great patriotic feeling being able to help a true grassroots republican conservative that loves the people in her district and wants to speak for us. A women with values, morals and spunk. We are behind you Patricia as your support grows daily.

It's a sad day in this country when we have to listen to politicians like Grayson. Fortunately, we have a great candidate to oppose him in the next election, Patricia Sullivan. I will be so glad when we can hear her sensible comments and solutions instead of the dribble that comes from Grayson. I think the American people deserve to hear talk that makes sense from politicians that treat us like intelligent people. He must think we are really morons, judging from his comments and I resent that.

I wonder how much money this little tirade cost the American people? Just so Mr. Grayson could garner the attention he craves. Doesn't the House of Representatives have more important items to address, rather than listening to Dis-Grayson's childish brattle? Move over and let the adults represent the people of the 8th district.

LOL - those first few responses are buy some delusional individual who, albeit half way intelligent, shows they're suffering from severe depression, and thereby facts mean nothing to them.

To them, Bush was great, and protected this homeland - except he didn't and he wasn't. He failed where no other American had in protecting the continental USA ever as a 'president'. He was a farce, a joke, a stain in history, and the blathering on about, "Oh, Pat is gonna save us from Grayson" baloney is so CUTE. So, what happens when she doesn't win? You gonna go check yourself into an asylum?

I think you oughta now...

GOP leaders are out of touch, closed-minded, pro-corporation/insurance slaves, and care little for my suffering or YOURS.

All that Dis-Grayson is doing is alienating himself from the voters of District 8. He thinks by getting bushels of money from out of state he can buy his way back to Congress. He and lots of other politicians are going to find out that the grass roots want real candidates, people who are not lawyers, developers or career politicians. Let's go back to what the Founding fathers intended, citizen legislators.
And as mentioned above, Patricia Sullivan fits that category well, running as a Republican but un-sullied by the DC swamp mud that has corrupted so many.

I assume the three people who commented all know each other or was it one person.
I have heard that same distortion of history from numerous other Republican "spokesmen" in addition to Rudy Giuliani. Is there a play book that is shared so they all speak the same lines? It doesn't matter how many times a distortion is said, it still doesn't change the facts of history. Bush inherited a surplus that he spent into the ground. 9/11 happened during Bush's first term. Iraq was a HUGE mistake. Obama was given the worst financial crisis in our history next to the Great Depression. New Orleans was a double catastrophe. And the list continues...

The only legacy Bush will leave behind is he single handily elected Obama as President.

Mr. Grayson might have a point if it weren't for Mr. Obama's blatant disregard for the nation's security. There were several ATTEMPTED incidents during the Bush administration, and at least one mentally deranged sniper working completely independently (can you call him a terrorist?).

The point is, Mr. Grayson, that despite continued attacks, Mr. Obama continues to do things such as closing Guantanamo Bay, holding court for terrorists in New York City, and re-naming Terrorist acts "man-made disasters." His campaign of "nice" diplomacy has made the US a laughingstock, demonstrating over and over that the Tiger has lost its teeth.

Mr. Grayson is a dangerous dilettante who's only interest in national security is reducing or eliminating our military and intelligence assets. Like most liberals, he refuses to acknowledge the price paid in blood for our liberty and security over the years. His only interest is ripping out the heart of our capabilities, no matter what the cost.

As the 2010 election approaches, I look forward to Mr. Grayson finally realizing that his behavior will cost him his seat in Congress to someone like Patricia Sullivan, an advocate for a strong national defense. Mrs. Sullivan's common sense approach to national security issues will bring us back to responsible representation in Florida's Eight Congressional District. His departure cannot happen too soon.
