Fox Nation Just Asking Questions: ‘Is Pres. Obama Disrespecting the Oval Office?’

January 25, 2010

(ChattahBox)—Fox Nation, the online arm of the right-wing propaganda outlet Fox News is known for its daily menu of anti-Obama rhetoric. The conservative Web site often links to radical right-wing blogs, such as Andrew Brietbart’s BigGoverment.com, promoting fevered anti-government conspiracy theories as real news. But today, Fox Nation takes a page out of the book of conspiracy-theorist-in-chief Glenn Beck and just asks a question. What is the question? “Is Pres. Obama Disrespecting the Oval office?

Like Glenn Beck’s accusatory smears disguised as questions, Fox Nation isn’t exactly saying that President Obama is not respectful of the Oval Office, they are just asking: “Hey, I’m just asking questions here. I’m not saying he did this. What’s wrong with asking questions?” Beck’s penchant for character assassination using accusatory statements, is so entrenched that Comedy Central’s South Park even spoofed Beck’s circular logic, with the character Cartman portraying the idiotic Beck.

Fox Nation shows a picture of President Obama with his feet on his desk, during a meeting with staffers. And yah know, just asks a question. But there is also a photo of President Bush with his feet on his desk, while meeting with White House staff members. So, the question is: Did President Bush disrespect the Oval Office too?

And let’s see what other dishonest attacks and smears cloaked in questions can we come up with here? Does the former President Bush have smelly feet? Is that why Karl Rove is standing so far away? Did Bush daydream on the job, while also disrespecting the Oval Office?

And of course Fox Nation links to a right-wing blog, which argues that President Obama does not respect the White House, because he is shown eating and tossing a football in the Oval Office. “Other presidents” apparently never ate in the Oval office or put their feet on the desk.

Sighs—-The stupidity is mind numbing.

Is Fox Nation engaging in acts of willful and deliberate aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States of America?

I’m just asking, you know, not suggesting that Fox Nation is somehow trying to foment violent revolt among the neo-Nazis, or attempting to incite jihadists to commit acts of terror.

Yep I posted that pic of Bush there and called them all morons. It’s pretty pathetic the level that they have sunk to in their smear campaign. I go to Fox Nation and it makes me weep for humanity,
