Garridos Allowed Phone Calls By Judge

February 27, 2010

California (ChattahBox) – Phillip and Nancy Garrido have been allowed to have two five minute phone calls by ruling of a judge this week.

The two alleged kidnappers who are believed to have taken Jaycee Lee Dugard as a child and held her in captivity for 18 years, along with two daughters that Phillip sired, were given permission for the phone calls by Judge Douglas Phimister.

The two face various kidnapping, imprisonment, abuse and sexual abuse charges between them in a case that has horrified the world.

This news comes only days after it was announced that Dugard has filed preliminary paperwork Victim Compensation, which could be evidence that she is planning a lawsuit against the state of California.

The state has previously admitted that they were at fault for Jaycee not having been found, despite several visits by local police, and Phillip Garrido being on parole.
