Hustler Asks For Decapitated Hiker Photos
March 9, 2010
Fred Rosen, a reporter for the pornographic publication, requested the photographs for an unspecified feature he was believed to be creating for the magazine.
Meredith Emerson disappeared while hiking in 2008 in Georgia. Her body was found shortly after in the same woods.
She had been beaten to death and then decapitated.
Gary Hilton was arrested and plead guilty to her murder, and has been indicted in the death of Cheryl Hodges Dunlap, and is believed to have been involved in several others.
The request from Rosen has sparked a new bill which, if passed, would remove crime scene photos from the public records of the state.
“It’s sickening. I think it’s disgusting. I think it is vile and I think it is very, very hurtful to this family,” House Speaker David Ralston (R – Georgia) said of the request.
Neither Hustler, nor Mr. Rosen, has made a statement since the request was denied.
