Man Arrested For Threatening House Minority Leader Number 2
March 29, 2010
Norman Leboon made the threat on a video he posted on YouTube, saying he would kill Cantor and his entire family.
The incident is proof of the ridiculous antics coming from all angles after a heated health care reform debate, where many people from both Republican and Democratic parties were subject to threats of violence, which the Dems accused the Right of encouraging, and the Republicans accused the Dems of over-hyping.
If sentenced on the two-count charge, Leboon could face up to 15 years in prison for threatening he life of a government official, and pay a fine of $500,000.
