Hutaree Militia Leaders In Ridiculous, Paranoid Ranting Video
April 8, 2010
(ChattahBox) – A recording of the alleged Hutaree militia leader has been released by CNN, and in it he rants about the New World Order, the need to finish the fight, and accuses the police of being a dangerous enemy of the people.
In the voice recording, which was secretly taken by an FBI agent undercover in the militia group, David Bryan Stone Sr can be heard telling the members of the Hutaree that they are the “American militia”.
“In this nation, we think we are free, but you need a certificate to be born, a license to drive, a permit to build, a number to get a job and even a paper after you die,” he said in a written speech he read out to his members during a car trip in which the Hutaree had to turn back from a drive into Kentucky to another militia meeting due to snow storms.
“These are permission slips from the terrorists organization called the New World Order.”
Stone is one of nine believed to have conspired to kill a law enforcement officer, and then set off bombs at the funeral procession to spark a revolt against the government.
He was wishing to dissolve government control in four Michigan counties and rename them as a country, which would be used as a defense against the New World Order.
“People in this nation as well as some around this world are waiting for those individuals like you see sitting in this room to actually make the decision to go to war against this evil, greedy New World Order,” the tape continued.
“They need leaders who are not afraid to stand up and actually mean, ‘No more.’ We are free and we should not be afraid or ashamed to admit that we are the American militia. We outnumber them. As long as we let them terrorize any American through fear and intimidation, then they are winning this battle and we should step up to the fight that they have started and finish it.”
The defense argues that this was just talk, and should be protected under freedom of speech. They are calling for it to be ignored as evidence of intent.
