(ChattahBox)—The Crown Publishing Group issued a press release on Monday, announcing a November 9 publishing date for former President George W. Bush’s memoir. The book, entitled “Decision Points,” will deal with many of Bush’s challenges, during his presidency, including 9/11 and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The announcement states Bush’s book will also cover “his flaws and mistakes.”
According to the publisher’s press release, “Decision Points,” will delve into 14 major decisions made by Bush during his two-terms as president:
“President Bush brings readers inside the Texas Governor’s Mansion on the night of the hotly contested 2000 election; aboard Air Force One on 9/11 in the gripping hours after America’s most devastating attack since Pearl Harbor; inside the Situation Room in the moments before launching the war in Iraq,” said the publisher.
Bush also writes about “his historic and controversial decisions on the financial crisis, Hurricane Katrina, Afghanistan, Iran, and other issues that have shaped the first decade of the 21st century.”
Besides writing about a presidency that many political observers have dubbed the worst in history, Bush also touches on his drinking problems, his faith and family relationships.
