New Evidence Against George Huguely Pulled From His Apartment

May 6, 2010

Virginia (ChattahBox) – New potential evidence has been removed from the apartment of University of Virginia student George Huguely in the death of his former girlfriend, Yeardley Love.

The 22-year-old female lacrosse player was found dead in her dorm room by a friend. She had been badly beaten, and her head was beaten repeatedly into a wall.

Huguely was arrested in connection to her murder, and according to his attorney the death was ‘an accident’.

Today, the police took a notebook, two laptops, a letter to the victim and a jersey with what appears to be unidentified crimson stains from his apartment.

This comes a day after it came to light that the student had been arrested before, after drunkenly threatening a female police officer when she stopped him for public intoxication as he stumbled in the street a few blocks from a frat house.

Huguely has been charged with first degree murder.
