Bill O’Reilly Wants to Plug BP Oil Spill With NBC Reporters
May 24, 2010
(ChattahBox)—The fair and balanced news network, Fox News took aim at NBC reporters this morning. Controversial pundit Bill O’Reilly offered a violent suggestion for capping BP’s devastating Gulf oil spill: “stuff” NBC reporters inside the gushing oil well.
Bill O’Reilly, host of the O’Reilly Factor, frequently attacks MSNBC though GE, the parent company of MSNBC, as part of his ongoing feud with “Countdown” host Keith Olbermann. GE was outraged last year when O’Reilly, accused the corporation of killing U.S. soldiers, by manufacturing materials used in terrorists’ roadside bombs.
And Olbermann frequently mocks O’Reilly’s vitriol and his ambush journalism, calling him “Bill-O-the Clown.”
During his appearance on Fox & Friends this morning, O’Reilly with the help of co-host Brian Kilmeade decided to continue his war with NBC:
CARLSON: “Well, maybe with stopping the gap or the hole where it’s spilling out, but a lot of people have come forward with ideas of how to clean it up.”
O’REILLY: “Yeah, I thought that they — basically, in the very beginning — should stuff every member of NBC News in that hole.
CARLSON: Oh my gosh.”
KILMEADE: “They did want a junk shot, so that makes sense.”
