BP CEO Hayward Shouts at Media: ‘Get ‘Em Out of There’ (Video)

May 25, 2010

(ChattahBox)—The Gulf oil spill disaster just keeps getting worse, with no end in sight. And today, BP CEO Tony Hayward decided to take stock of the environmental devastation, caused by his oil company, live and in person. But he didn’t want the media filming him, as he strolled the once pristine shoreline, soiled with BP’s oil sludge.

The majority of Americans have had just about enough of British Pretroleum’s destruction of our Gulf environment and economy. And the company’s inability to cap the gushing underwater well, 36-days after the explosion and sinking of the Deepwater Horizon oil rig, shows BP is just winging it. So when the imperious Brit CEO, began barking at the media — let’s just say Hayward hasn’t made any new friends with his behavior.

“Get ‘em out of there, get ‘em out of there,” screamed Hayward.

Everybody knows that BP is dragging their feet on the Gulf oil spill cleanup, but most people don’t know just how badly they are screwing America. The fact is that BP is using highly-toxic dispersants on the oil spill simply because BP makes the dispersant, so it costs them very little. The result is oil in small globs instead of in a continuous slick; no real change in the damage it does to wildlife and fisheries, excpet possibly making it worse.

But BP *could* use a product developed by NASA called “PRP.” PRP is made from beeswax, and is 100% biodegradable. it absorbs the oil and then the PRP and the oil is eaten by bacteria, resulting in 100% total cleanup of the spill.

BP is not using PRP because BP doesn’t make PRP, and BP would rather make big profits from America’s pain than spend a little money to clean up the mess that BP – an International megacorp – made in America’s Gulf.
