As the NYDN article points out, Elizabeth wants to keep Hunter from raising her children. That doesn’t mean their father won’t be in their lives; although, that could happen if he is incarcerated for the campaign finance violations under investigation. His other acts of moral turpitude in covering up the affair and denying his daughter’s paternity could factor into him losing his rights to his children.

Elizabeth is being a responsible mother making sure her children are loved and well cared for if she can’t be there for them herself. Besides, the children still have a strained relationship with their father so being with him (with or without Hunter) wouldn’t be in their best interests.

if there were a time machine, i would have gone there to where Rielle Hunter, the huntress who said ‘YOU’RE HOT”, –time it to a place before she says this to JOHN E,
get a surgeon to close up her vagina, and call a constructor — to cement her vagina,

then john wouldn’t have a baby with her and also john wouldn’t be charge for using campaign money, and the edwards are still a happy family.

If Hunter really loved John, she wouldn’t have HUNTED him,, she would just love and admire him from a distance.

I am really praying for the children, I lost my Mom to cancer and a sister. It’s so hard to see your love ones go trhrough this ordeal, but thank God she had a loving family that was by her side. Family I leave this scripture with you.

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. Psalms 121:1-8

IT IS FILLED WITH IRONIES, TOO MANY TO BEGIN TO MENTION. BUT, I CAN SAY FOR ELIZABETH (MY MOTHER ALWAYS SAID HER REAL NAME WAS ELIZABETH, THE NAME SHE CHOSE FOR HERSELF), THAT WE, NOW KNOW THAT CANCER IS AMONG US LIKE DARK ANGELS AT FIRST AND THEN ILLUMINATION TO LET US KNOW THAT DEATH IS NOT JUST AN ENDING BUT, AT THE SAME TIME, A BEGINNING. WITH AND THROUGH CANCER WE CAN SEE THAT WHILE WE LIVE. I THINK OF CANCER AS GOD’S WAY OF LETTING US REALLY AND TRULY LIVE BEFORE WE DIE, THE WORTH OF CANCER. SOMETIMES IT IS HARD TO DESCRIBE IT AS A GIFT OR A BURDEN. BUT, LIFE AND DEATH, TOGETHER, ARE JUST THAT WAY, BOTH, A GIFT AND A BURDEN THAT WE MUST BEAR WITH ONE ANOTHER. SHE, ELIZABETH, BOTH, SHARED AND BARED THE GIFT AND THE BURDEN WITH MANY OTHERS FOR THE WORTH AND CAUSE OF HEALTH AND WELLNESS WHILE WE ARE HERE AND THE HOPE AS WE ENTER THE BEYOND. SHE IS NEVER ALONE, MOM’S REAL NAME IS ELIZABETH, AFTERALL.
