Dems to GOP: We Dare You to Run on Healthcare Repeal

June 10, 2010

ChattahBox)—The Republicans led by House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH), are still determined to make repealing healthcare reform part of their mid-term campaign strategy. Repealing the bill, is our No. 1 priority, said Boehner. Well, DNC Chairman Tim Kaine, says “Bring it on!” The Democrats are premiering a new national cable TV ad today, highlighting the benefits of the new reform law that are kicking in now, such as the $250 Medicare rebates, to make up for the so-called prescription coverage “donut hole.”

The ad entitled, “We Can’t Afford To Go Back,” points out that Americans finally have healthcare reform, after years of Republican obstruction. And the spot derides Republican solutions to our healthcare system, as a “plan only insurance companies would love.”

The DNC’s Brad Woodhouse, said Democrats plan to target the districts of vulnerable Republican lawmakers, to ensure that their constituents are fully aware of “what they would lose if their members’ effort to repeal reform is successful.”

The ad touting the immediate benefits of the healthcare overhaul, is accompanying a series of town halls for seniors, explaining the new reforms.

The patient and doctor are the ones who should be in charge. But, I’d rather have the insurance company than the federal government.

Risky. Anybody’s who has been following the Democrats seizure of healthcare in America, know that the whole plan is full half truths and outright lies. False claims of cost and coverage are littered throughout the bill even this ad is not truthful. From the facts that makes everybody buy health insurance and business economically forced into the government plan to the point where they are holding young people back by making them even more dependent longer on their parents, and that the whole plan mimics plans of socialistic countries. The country wanted healthcare reform not a Nancy Pelosi vision of a socialize America. The targeted Republican approach addressing the key grievances against healthcare insurance companies, will better ensure the American dream.
