National Enquirer Claims ‘New Evidence’, Gore Sticks to His Guns
July 1, 2010
US (ChattahBox) – The National Enquirer is now saying they have new ‘evidence’ against Gore in the sexual assault case, which comes the same morning that police say they are reopening the investigation.
According to the tabloid, Molly Hagerty has “bravely gone public” with the details of an alleged sexual assault by former Vice President Al Gore.
The massage therapist says she has DNA evidence (though as there was no actual sex, it is hard to say what could possibly be on it the pants she has presented), a surprise eyewitness (which also seem strange, as no one else was actually in the room when the alleged attack occurred), and new details (which were probably already presented in the police report).
Gore still denies anything occurred, other than a simple massage, and a spokesperson for his family made a statement early this morning.
“Further investigation into this matter will only benefit Mr. Gore. The Gores cannot comment on every defamatory, misleading, and inaccurate story generated by tabloids. Mr. Gore unequivocally and emphatically denied this accusation when he first learned of its existence three years ago. He stands by that denial.”
I honestly believe him.
Everything this woman has done has been in an attempt to get money. She wouldn’t file a criminal investigation, but instead tried to sue civilly. She went to police when this didn’t work, but after giving a statement wanted a copy to use to get a paid story in the National Enquirer. She is now speaking to them again, and likely for cash, this time.
The details of her account don’t add up, police had originally closed the case because of no evidence of the attack, and she has acted suspiciously through the entire process.
My guess is she is slightly crazy, and looking for a major payoff. After all, does any part of her story, or the way she has responded to the alleged attack, actually make sense?
It would be hard to believe this is a true story, whoever the accused was.
