CNN’s Erickson: Obama’s Support of Ground Zero Mosque Same as Satanic ‘Human Sacrifice’
August 15, 2010
(ChattahBox)—Erick Erickson the incendiary right-wing RedState blogger and CNN contributor, has weighed in on the Ground Zero Mosque controversy, using his customary wisdom and fair-minded logic. Haha, yah right! No, the pundit who once called the former Supreme Court Justice David Souter a “goat fucking child molester,” took to his Twitter machine, after President Obama’s speech supporting the Islamic center in Lower Manhattan, to compare Islam to Satanic worship and suggested that Obama was supporting “human sacrifice.” The Islamic Cordoba House community center–Satan–same thing. Oh, and not just content with invoking the devil, Erickson also accused Obama of endorsing “jihad,” implying all of Islam is violent and bent on our destruction.
Erickson, who suffers from a frequent cases of verbal diarrhea, is known for his incendiary, violent and racially tinged remarks. As ChattahBox has previously reported, Erickson has referred to First Lady Michelle Obama, as a “marxist harpy wife,” attacked Obama’s Nobel Peace prize, as an “affirmative action quota” and called for Americans to beat state lawmakers “to a bloody pulp.”
The CNN contributor also railed against U.S. Census workers, threatening to “Pull out my wife’s shotgun and see how that little ACS twerp likes being scared at the door.”
So, Erickson’s latest vitriolic remarks are nothing new. Still, President Obama’s speech on religious freedom has put Erickson over the edge.
Erickson and his extremist commentary is apparently what passes for CNN’s the “best political team on television,” these days.
Below are a few of his bizarre tweets, posted in response to Obama’s remarks:
