Wake up you idiots, It was Americans and other nationals that were murdered on 9/11 so why should a memorial be put up for muslims.

Personally I would, and I know a lot of well known Americans, would like to see a bigger and bolder building in place, not to commerate but to show that we will not be held to ransom or intimidated.

Recent news clips have shown these people prefer mob rule when they do not get their way, and if we cowtow to this sort of pressure I feel there will be a much higher price to pay further down the line.

Our sons and daughters and other relatives are already paying the ultimate price.

Bloomberg, Bush and others probably have a vested intrest in the proceeds from the wars in foreign lands and more so the eventual profits of the exports from the same.

Question:- Why are our taxes being used in developement of wepons for so called defence of our countries and not being used for this purpose ? does Al Qaeda descrminate when on the attack? you answer the questions yourself and then consider.

I would like to see Donald offer to trade another property site rather than money. Should the Imam sell their land, no one will let them buy a replacement not even 100 miles away, no city will offer a permit.
Those protesting against it would like to see any mosque anywhere, neither any Moslem’s anywhere. My feeling.
    God bless you all.

No, sorry editor, YOU are wrong. Donald Trump’s heart is in the right place. Moving the mosque farther away from where it is proposed now would be a good-will gesture to the American people by the Imam and the Islamic community. The Imam said they are not going to “toy with their religion or barter; they are here to extend their hands in peace and harmony”. So the Imam considers building a mosque at Ground Zero, a mosque that the majority of Americans have voiced they do NOT want; is offensive to US and is distasteful and disrespectful the victims of 9/11, as building peace and harmony? The Imam also said if they do not build the mosque at that location, due to American pressure to relocate the mosque elsewhere, anger will “explode” in the Muslim world. It is obvious these people do not have ANY respect for us, nor are sensitive to what offends us! The sooner the United States and the rest of the civilized world gets that through their thick, liberal heads the safer and stronger we will be. Until then, we are puppets bending to their every threat out of fear! That is no way to live. I am also sick to death of hearing our politicians talk about how disrespectful burning the Koran is, and hearing of the Islamic world “outraged” and burning our flag when they shred our Bible and destroy crosses going into their countries, which is considered illegal.

It isn’t Palin and Fox that has generated anti-Muslim sentiment, stop being a PC talking head and realize what causes the sentiment: It is the supremacist and primitive behavior of the majority of Muslims. The West has done wrong, but at least you hear apologies and you also have a lot of self criticism. This is all but absent in Islam. It was founded by a violent warlord, and that culture lasts to this day. God help us if people such as yourself were around during the Nazi era. Think about that for a bit… and this is coming from a so-called liberal person. I am liberal, I’m not a blind idiot. The muslims who are building this mosque knew it would be provocative and hurt people. Why don’t you ask the question, why weren’t they a bit more sensitive considering what happened at that location? Modern Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Pagans, would not do the same thing. It is only Islam in the 21st century that does this — and you make excuses as if they are the victims. They thank you to your face, and they laugh at you behind your back.

I think that the Muslins are making fools of Americans by building this.
Harry S. Truman would have never backed down to these threats of what will happen if this mosque is not built. No matter what Americans do anymore provotes the Muslim world. It is us against them. Be a liberal coward and see how fast they stone you to death for having a beer.

Donald Trump is more man than the current mayor of NY is. I say, more power to you, Donald. And when you mentioned your intentions on the David Letterman show, I could see how the mentality of David Letterman has taken over this nation. People have become “airheads”. We need to wake up and smell the coffee. It’s time to listen up, and realize how our enemies are trying to take over our very own Christian nation by using our own laws to allow them in – just so they can destroy our way of life. Soon it’ll be again, like the wild, wild west.

I think Donald Trump is right on track with his comments and thinking, very wise man.

Sep 11, 2001 a day that will never be forgotten. Ha ha ha its only been 9 years. Americans have either completely forgotten who had f–ked them and now Liberal Americans are fighting for these same people to put up a mosque at ground zero.

The West will never, never, never be able to win the war with radical islam. I personally found new respect for Islam, they send their siucide hijacker and hijack american planes and bomb american buildings and sent out their Islamic representative to build the Mosque at ground zero. Just think, which religion has this kind of guts and who are you able to fight with this.

To be offended by a muslim community center (of which one part will be a mosque) being erected near the site of the 9/11 attacks because you assume the muslim religion is somehow responsible for the behavior of a handful of extremists is the equivalent being offended by a catholic church being built near a school, because according to your logic, all catholics are pedophiles!

Donald Trump has grown to epic proportions in my eyes. At least he is aware of what is happening around him. I find it difficult to believe that the idiot with the glasses who dogged him does not view world news. Spain has fallen to Islamic Rule. France is predicted to be next with 20 percent occupancy. England is greatly threatened. Unless all of the remaining countries unite and put an end to their violence, the world is doomed. Am I the only person who views the World News coming from where these problems are occuring. You will not see it on our local news channels or in our newspapers. It is as if they are whitewashing the violence and threats that these people pose to the United States and to the rest of the world. Their children are being indoctrinated at elementary school age. It is worse than Nazi Germany. They were mainly after the poor Jewish people. That was despicable since they are God’s chosen people in the eyes of Christians. Islamic people hate all religions except their own. What we have in the United States is an education problem when it comes to the Sharia Law.

I would rather have an Islamic center than some stupid hotel that I will never be able to stay in because I will go in the red. If Donald buys the building and I was the leader of the UAE (and there are probably likely to be funders from there royal family) I would more than likely close down Trump Hotels there.

Donald Trump is a true American. Something that is becoming more and more “political incorrect.” As far as I am concerned, he is a breed apart from the rest of the corporate “pussies,” and other Americans of influence who choose to do nothing. President Obama, and the majority of our other elected politicians, have done catastrophic damage to our country in such a short span of time. Trump is
a true leader, Obama on the other hand is a true puppet.

Let me get this straight…… The Imam wants 25 mil to sell the site, Donald offers 6 mil, but imam wants25. So Trump is wrong for not being a chump?? Imam is trying to make a buck on the controversy? He’s no religious guy, he wants to make a buck. And these Morning Joe dufuses say Donald is wrong? What planet are you people on? Imam insults Muslims, Americans and created this huge controversy and Donald is wrong? I don’t know what planet Morning Joe dufuses are on…..

Typical Liberal editor. Have to bash Sarah palin somehow. Even in a story that does not have anything to do with her!

  21. Ann on September 13th, 2010 6:21 pm

A friend just mentioned a interesting fact: In Seville Spain a Mosque was to be built much like the Upset that is happening here. The solution was: The people of the area buried pigs on the ground where the Mosque was to be built- NO MOSQUE was built after that because of their religious law ,No Mosque to be built on Pig soiled ground………
