The Tea Party, Race-Baiters & Homophobes Are Voting, Why Aren’t You? (Video)

October 23, 2010

(ChattahBox Political News)—Are you frustrated, discouraged and disheartened, because change hasn’t come fast enough for you? Fair enough. But do you really want to hand over the keys to the Republicans after they spent eight-years trashing our country, so they can do it all over again? Perhaps you need a little inspiration to get up off your behinds and vote on November 2. Here it is. One Wisconsin Now, a progressive advocacy group, has produced an awesome and inspirational ad, called “Turn Off the Hate, Get Out the Vote.” The ad reminds Democrats what we stand to lose if we don’t contribute to our democracy by casting our votes. Because, guess what? The other guys sure are voting. Who would that be? Extremist tea party members, racists, birthers, gay-bashers and Fox News viewers. Is that who you want in congress having control over your lives?

One Wisconsin Now’s get out the vote ad reminds us who is voting, if we aren’t.

The ad begins with Fox News’ Glenn Beck, saying he hates the families of 9/11. Then we see hate talker Rush Limbaugh promoting the offensive “Barack the Magic Negro” song. Yup, they are voting.

Who else is voting? Quitters, like Sarah Palin, adulterers, like Newt Gingrich and the misinformed, poor spelling tea party members.

Also, homophobes, birthers, race-baiters and Glenn Beck fanatics are voting.

The ad ends with an image of a tea party rally with the tagline, “All these people will vote, and they hope you don’t.”

Don’t give up and hand over our country to lunatics.

Watch and get inspired:
