Donald Trump Mulling 2012 White House Bid
November 19, 2010
(ChattahBox U.S. News)—Donald Trump may be upping the ante in his quest to take control—Trump told ABC news yesterday that he is considering running for president as a Republican candidate in 2012, noting that he’d be willing to spend over $200 million of his own cash to fund the race, rawstory.com reports.
Trump will make a decision on whether or not to run by this summer, and acknowledges that he would be willing to go head-to-head with fellow reality TV star Sarah Palin. “I like her, but I’d take her on,” Trump told ABC news.
High on Trump’s priority list would be addressing relations with China, which he feels is manipulating its currency in a way that devalues the American economy. Trump previously considered running for president in 1999, rawstory.com notes.
