Barbara Bush Hopes Sarah Palin Stays in Alaska

November 22, 2010

(Chattahbox U.S. News)—Former First Lady Barbara Bush has never been a shrinking violet, but her comments to Larry King about Sarah Palin on Saturday solidified that fact. Asked by King about her feelings regarding Palin, Bush responded, “I sat next to her once, thought she was beautiful, and I think she’s very happy in Alaska. And I hope she’ll stay there,” rawstory.com reports.

Also sitting with Mrs. Bush for the interview was her husband, former president George H.W. Bush, who told King he was confused by what the Tea Party actually is and how it differs from the Republican Party at large, adding, “But it’s all right,” rawstory.com notes.

The interview with the Bushes will air on tonight’s Larry King Live.
