Palin Says Democrats ‘Not Going to Shut Me Up’

January 18, 2011

(ChattahBox U.S. News)—Sarah Palin refuses to be silenced, she told Sean Hannity during a Fox News interview last night, and plans to defend herself against “those on the left” who plan to stop her, CBS News reports. “I will continue to speak out. They’re not going to shut me up,” she said.

Palin defended her video response to the Arizona shooting, in which she had used the term “blood libel,” which was later criticized for being an anti-Semitic term, CBS News reports. “Blood libel obviously means being falsely accused,” Palin told Hannity.

Despite receiving recent death threats, Palin said she will continue to share her message “because I know others have my back, and I have their back,” CBS News notes. She acknowledged that parts of President Obama’s speech last week “really hit home” but thought the setting was “a bit bizarre,” resembling “a pep rally.”

Common sense doesn’t seem likely to shut her up, either. Why is it that those least qualified to give advice are always the loudest to demand that their advice be heeded?
