Obama Makes 2012 Campaign Official: ‘It Begins With Us’ (Video)
April 4, 2011
(ChattahBox Political News)–President Obama officially rolled out his reelection campaign for 2012 this morning with the release of a web video, entitled “It Begins With Us.” The video depicts a number of Americans talking about the upcoming election as an opportunity to make their voices heard, by voting for Obama to continue making the changes that are needed. One woman in the video, said “There are so many things that are still on the table that need to be addressed.” Addressing the lackluster voter intensity of Democrats in the 2010 midterm elections, the reelection video informs supporters that they can’t sit at home and expect all of the intensity and energy to be fueled by the Obama campaign. If Americans want real progressive change, they have to fight for it.
One man in the video says he wants President Obama to be the one to address our nation’s problems. “We want them to be addressed by President Obama,” he says.
And a female supporter explains how real political change is accomplished.
“Politics is individuals talking to other individuals and making a difference.”
Indeed it is.
Check out the updated Barack Obama campaign website that asks voters, “Are You In?” “Even though this campaign has just kicked off, there’s a whole lot you can do right now to start organizing for 2012. If you haven’t already, take a moment now to say, “I’m In”, and invite your friends to join you via email, Facebook, or Twitter,” reads the website.
