What The Hell’s Wrong With Donald Trump?
April 26, 2011
(ChattahBox Political News)—Donald Trump jumped the shark with his birther lies today and switched course to blatant racism. The sideshow clown and buffoonish reality TV star is now offensively suggesting that President Obama hustled his way into the ivy league schools of Columbia and Harvard by some nefarious means, typical of an illegitimate Kenyan usurper. The Donald told the Associated Press that he “heard” from somebody that Obama was a poor student. He then made the insinuation that Obama, who graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and become president of the law review, did not get into the ivies on his own merits. In other words, that black guy weaseled his way into elite schools, taking spots away from more-deserving rich white kids, aided by Affirmative Action. How low will Donald Trump go? And what the hell is wrong with him?
According to Trump, he’s “looking into” Obama’s Affirmative Action scheme. The Donald said something is obviously amiss, because many of the privileged white kids of his wealthy friends couldn’t get into Harvard. So, how did one of “the blacks” with no papers get in?
‘”I have friends who have smart sons with great marks, great boards, great everything and they can’t get into Harvard,” Trump said. “We don’t know a thing about this guy.”‘
The Huffington Post’s Dan Collins, turns the tables on Trump’s ridiculously racist assertions.
“In point of fact, Trump’s own educational background is more shrouded in mystery than Obama’s. Trump — who continually tells interviewers that he is a very smart person who went to great schools — attended a small private school in Queens before his parents shipped him to off to the New York Military Academy.
After graduating from the military school in 1964, Trump spent a couple of years at Fordham and then transferred to the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. What explains Trump’s jump from Fordham to the Ivy League? Could it have been the influence of his wealthy father?
We don’t know a thing about this guy.”
Trump’s race-baiting attacks on the legitimacy of our first black President come from a very dark, very ugly place.
