Let them destroy themselves. Rove, Beck, Romney, Guiliani, Bloomberg, and others have told them there is nothing to this conspiracy, but they aren’t listening. It will be difficult for any republican to run against President Obama in 2012 unless he/she is willing to embrace birtherism, and now, since the president has released the long form of his birth certificate, they’ll look like fools to anyone looking for a sane candidate to vote for in 2012. Geller, Farah, Trump, Palin, Taitz, Buchanan, and the rest of the birthers have revealed their racism. They
don’t care how petty and small-minded it makes Americans look in the eyes of the world that they have so little respect for a duly elected POTUS because of his race. Their main goal is to get the black man out of the WH ASAP, and they don’t care how they do it. This is why they persist in this birther nonsense, and why they have decided to begin demanding the president’s academic records. I expected what is happening to occur because most Americans are totally unaware of how rampant racism still is in this country. I’ve had to deal with it my entire life. I’m waiting on someone on the right to call the president a ni99er. I do believe it’s coming. I’ve heard from a lot of my white blog associates that the word is often used to refer to our president by people they encounter.
