Many are stating that the speech he is set to make today in Germany will have him receiving a welcome similar to what John F. Kennedy used to receive.

He is set to meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, as well as Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier when he arrives.

Obama will speak at the foot of a column which commemorates Prussia’s military victories in the 19th century, a major Berlin landmark.

Obama believes that this speech will show his passion for the type of relationship he wants between the U.S. and Europe.
