Georgia, Russia Conflict Could Keep NASA From ISS
August 15, 2008
Washington (ChattahBox) - The Georgia, Russia conflict could lead to NASA not being able to get to the International Space Station.
The conflict between Georgia and Russia is causing major problems with the relations between the U.S. and Russia.
Due to this fact, NASA may lose out on their ability to get to the International Space Station.
Once NASA retires the space shuttle in 2010, they will have to wait until 2015 for a replacement.
During this time, it was hoped that they could get rides with Russia’s Soyuz flights.
As the conflict continues though, fear rises that Russia may block NASA from this ability.
