The 42-year old was denied his appeal by European Court of Human Rights.

This means that he will now likely be extradited to the United States.

The argument from his attorneys was that he could not be extradited to the U.S. on humanitarian grounds, stating he would be put under conditions that were inhumane.

Back in 2002 he was charged with hacking into 92 different U.S. government computer networks in 2001 and 2002.

These computers included those of NASA and the Pentagon.  He was looking for evidence of UFOs, according to reports.

If he is charged in the U.S. he could get up to 70 years in prison if convicted.
