President Sarkozy proposes: “Arabic Is the Language of the Future”

January 19, 2009

(ChattahBox) — The French government and particularly it’s President seem to be strongly advocating the teaching of Arabic language and civilization in French schools. In 2006 the United States Department of State placed the Muslim population in France at roughly 10%. In accordance with a law dating from 1872, the French Republic does not ask about religion or ethnic origin in its census. In his message to the participants at the French National Assembly earlier this month, French President Nicolas Sarkozy called Arabic the “language of the future, of science and of modernity,” and expressed the hope that “more French people share in the language that expresses great civilizational and spiritual values.”

“We must invest in the Arabic language (because) to teach it symbolizes a moment of exchange, of openness and of tolerance, (and it) brings with it one of the oldest and most prestigious civilizations of the world. It is in France that we have the greatest number of persons of Arabic and Muslim origin. Islam is the second religion of France,” Sarkozy reminded his listeners.

Sarkozy proceeded to list the various “advances in terms of diversity,” the increase in Muslim sections of cemeteries, the training of imams and chaplains and the appointments of ministers of diverse backgrounds.

“France is a friend of Arabic countries. We are not seeking a clash between the East and West,” he affirmed, emphasizing the strong presence of Arab leaders at the founding summit of the Union for the Mediterranean, last July 13. “The Mediterranean is where our common hopes were founded. Our common sea is where the principal challenges come together: durable development, security, education and peace.”

Is anyone surprised that the French are still idiots and cowards?

it’s no surprise to me that the politicians (who should know better) cater to the arab populations, they need their vote and are willing to turn a blind eye to the danger that islam represents to the world…
and when I say islam, I don’t mean “islamic extremists” I mean really islam as a religion of hatred and dominations. “Conversion or death”, that’s part of the doctrine preached by Islam…

This seems to be the voice of a man intimidated by the Muslim presence.

He claims that arabic “symbolizes a moment of exchange, of openness and of tolerance”. I have seen no openness or tolerance from Middle Eastern countries!

If a daughter is seen with another man and he is not married she will be killed. If a child converts from Islam to another religion he will be mercilessly slaughtered by his parents. Women are considered little more than slaves, and are kept ignorant. Not only this, but the Muslim sects are always murdering each other! If anybody reading this does not believe what I have written then I challenge them to research these things.

I am not anti-Muslim or anti-Arab. I care about the whole world, and would love to see peace. But if the world was run by Muslims then there would be no room for a non-Muslim, and non-Muslims would be treated like dirt.

The question that comes to mind is, “is he merely pandering to the Moslem part of the French electorate, or does he really mean it?”

If it’s the latter, one suspects it’s because he figures that the US surrendered when Obama was elected. Before that he was confrontational with them. Now, he’s signaling that he’s going to be supine.

What he fails to remember is that he’s dealing with Arabs and no Arab is happy unless he has a grudge or six to cherish. In the end, they’ll make him pay for what he said before our election caused him to have his epiphany.

“more French people share in the language that expresses great civilizational and spiritual values.”

    Great civilizational values? Let’s see:

Women executed for adultery after being raped or molested
    Female genital mutilation
    Honor killings
Extreme violence towards infidels promoted in teachings
No diversity or tolerance for non-Muslims
High illiteracy rates (especially amongst women)
Highly stratified caste societies (read forced poverty)
    Rioting, looting, car burnings, assaults
    Beheadings of homosexuals
Beheadings of many other types they don’t like
And lots more wonderful civilizational values! Too many to mention really.

This proves once and for all that LIBERALISM IS A MENTAL DISORDER!!!

You’re right. Islam civilized, of course not!! The christian (western) world has regaled the world with the following:

    – Iraq: hundreds of thousands of civilians dead including at least half a million children
    – Srebrenica: 8000 muslims slaughtered
    – Hiroshima & Nagasaki:220 000 direct deaths with many more thousands dying afterwards
    – Inquisition
    – Between 40000 to 100000 people executed for withcraft in Europe
    – Virtual annihilation of indigenous population of North- Central and South America
    – Apartheid in South-Africa
    – More than six million Jews murdered during WW II
    – 13 000 000 deaths in WW I
    – between 50 000 000 and 70 000 000 (yes seventy million!!) dead in WW II
    – and much much more

    Now that’s civilization for you.

This means that you don’t even understand the Article so shut the heck up and get educated, you morons. You should be charged of Religious Discrimination.

  14. me on September 10th, 2009 10:59 pm

um almost everyone who commented here is retarded.
first of all, most of the things on mark’s ridiculous list are practiced very infrequently and have NOTHING to do with islam, but more to do with local customs (mostly in areas with non-arab muslims).
second, muslim countries are far more tolerant of other religions than christians or jews. we see how tolerant the jews are with their murderous zionist regime. and christians? inquisitions, crusades, america’s little holy wars today… the list goes on. christian and jewish arabs lived happily in muslim countries for years, and many still do (the iranian jews love their country, and their president).
you’re all ignorant, uneducated red-necks who talk about things you don’t understand. so just shut up and get back to making moonshine in your bathtubs.
