Chinese Death Vans: Execute Prisoners and Harvests Their Organs

March 30, 2009

(ChattahBox)—An appalling story out of China today, involving China’s use of perhaps hundreds of roving high-tech death vans to execute prisoners by lethal injection, in what the Chinese officials see as an “efficient and clean” method to dispose of prisoners, without the need to build separate facilities.

There is even a darker twist to this story. As soon as the prisoners draw their last breath, doctors remove their organs, which are then sold to wealthy Chinese and patients from other countries who are willing to pay a hefty price for an organ, with no questions asked.

Human rights reports say Chinese officials, including the hospitals that charge hefty sums for the organs, the police who make arrests, the courts who sentence the prisoners to death, and other middleman, are making millions on the sale of prisoner’s organs. The more prisoners are sentenced to lethal injection, the more money they can stuff in their pockets from the sale of the organs.

Last year alone, China executed 1,715 people. It’s estimated that nearly 10,000 prisoners will be executed this year. The death penalty is possible for 68 crimes in China, ranging from fraud to tax evasion. It wouldn’t be too difficult to imagine, a criminal conspiracy between the courts and police to make sure no appeals to death sentences were handed out. Ensuring, that as many people as possible are put to death, to expand the organ trade.

The demand for black market organs is great and the Chinese officials see their ghastly death-van, organ trade enterprise as just another way to make money. The Chinese death vans bring back the horrible memories of the Nazi “gas-wagons,” that were used to murder Jews, Gypsies and the mentally ill during World War II.

Like the Chinese, the Nazis saw the gas-wagons as an efficient method to dispose of undesirables. The Nazi soldiers would pack the stripped down prisoners in the trucks and pump them full of carbon dioxide. Their screams would be heard, as the gas wagons drove directly to a mass grave, being dug by other Jews.

The Chinese automaker, Jinguan Auto, produces the vans to look like normal police vans from the outside. However, the inside is set up like a horrific, sterile operating chamber. Prisoners are strapped into an automated stretcher, that moves to the inside of the van where doctors are ready and waiting to administer the lethal injections, and then harvest the prisoner’s eyes, kidney, liver, pancreas and lungs.

Jinguan Auto is just giddy with the whole notion of producing the death vans, as car sales are in a major slump from the global recession. The death van maker announced that any interested foreign countries could just give them a call. The designer of the death vans, Kang Zhongwen, likens the quick, efficient and “humane” executions as China’s contribution to human rights.

Most prisoners, and some still are, were executed by shooting in public parks. After their death, the relatives are handed a bullet, dug out of their loved one’s body and are made to pay for it.

Meanwhile, more death vans are being produced, patrolling the neighborhoods, striking horror in the hearts of China’s citizens. As the demand for black market organs increases worldwide, human rights organizations fear the number of people executed in China will also increase to accommodate the demand.
