June 2, 2009

(ChattahBox) — Brazil’s Air Force said it has found airplane seats and other debris floating in the Atlantic Ocean, 650km off the country’s northern coast, along the path that the missing Air France Flight 447, was flying.

An Air Force spokesman said the seats and metallic objects were spotted by search planes early Tuesday morning but that authorities could not immediately confirm that they were from the plane.
