Hugo Boss Found To Have Made Nazi Uniforms

June 2, 2009

Germany (ChattahBox) – A scandal has hit the fashion world, after it was found that Hugo Boss used their factories to create Nazi uniforms.

The revelation was a shocker for many, who had never suspected the involvement, though Hugo Boss was a large name during World War II.

The implications go beyond the use of the factories, however, and it is believed that slave labor from concentration camps may have been used, bringing up issues of human rights violations at the time.

Hugo Boss died in 1948, but it is thought that his factories may have been used through the entire war. To read about the response from official spokeswoman Monika Steilen, click here.
