About Bernie Ecclestone's admiration of Hitler -- it's about denial, or the fear of denial. Even Jews were in denial while watching neighbors being loaded into trains headed for concentration camps and the ovens. If we give Ecclestone much benefit of doubt, then people might forget or be unable to recognize the dangers and hatred evidenced in front of their own eyes.

To those who claim Jews should abandown criticism or "harrassment" of Ecclestone and those like him, they just might be in denial themselves or hope they can convince others to let their guard down.

They should read the Ethic Soup blog article "German Coffee Shop Chain Uses Nazi Slogan Ads." Germany-based Tschibo coffee shop chain, jointly with Esso petrol stations in Germany (ExxonMobil), used the phrase "Jedem den Seinen" in advertisements. This was the phrase which hung over the main gate at Buchenwald concentration camp.

Although the literal translation is "to each their own," figuratively it means "Everyone gets what he deserves." The numerous businessmen involved have denied, denied, denied that they knew it was a Nazi slogan. How stupid do they think their consumers are? This was not the first time, second time, third time, fourth time that various advertisers in Germany have used the slogan. Perhaps the worst was the German food-retailer Rewe who used the phrase: "Barbecuing: To Each His Own." What? -- a reference to Jews being burned in ovens? Golly, we just had no idea.

Now who ever heard of so many companies using the SAME slogan anyway? No way --unless it had some "special" meaning. Read about the Nazi Slogan Ads in recent use at:

This looks like a good reason to boycott Formula One racing, and any automaker that participates in it. Which I shall now proceed to do.

[...] Whilst I in no way support what Adolf Hitler represented, I do feel that 'the Germans' cannot see things in anything other than black and white. It's too simple to say that Hitler was bad (though he was). He certainly managed to get (some) things done . . . In my opinion, there were things (such as the autobahns) that were good for both Germany and Europe. It seems that, like Basil Fawlty, Germans don't know how to be moderate in their expression of things involving Adolf H. Why can't they be reasonable and judge the various attributes for their worth? For reference, I despise all anti-Semitism (or, indeed any racism) especially the Holocaust. Germany, however, created many excellent aircraft during the 1930s and 1940s (even though the purpose for their creation was 'wrong'). One has to admire the way Bernie has managed to create FOM (and the grip that he holds over the participants) even if I consider it 'unfair' that one man should hold so much power. Bernie isn't Jewish by any chance? No, of course not:- Formula One Chief Bernie Ecclestone: Praises Hitler, Blames Jews for Banking Crisis | ChattahBox New... [...]
