Colonel Gaddafi Of Libya Calls For UN Abolishment Of Switzerland

September 4, 2009

Libya (ChattahBox) – Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi has created a strange mix of fury and amusement after proposing to the UN that Switzerland be abolished.

In a typical abolishing, a country’s leadership and sovereignty is dissolved, and it’s territories are divided up to neighboring lands. Who would get what? Gaddafi already has that covered.

He says that it should be divided along language barriers. Switzerland main would go to Germany, Ticino would go to Italy, and Romandy would go to France.

Now, some might see this as an insane request, and to be frank, it is. The fact that he would put this through as an actual UN motion seems to solidify the theories that he could be just the tiniest bit unstable.

But he claims it is not a personal vendetta against the country (despite the fact that his son and daughter in law were arrested in Switzerland for being abusive to domestic staff). No, it is the Swiss people’s own fault!

He says that it is their status as ‘financial terrorists’ that should put them up on the chopping block.

As for the fact that he is holding Swiss businessmen in Libya, despite not having an official charge and having said that he would let them go? That is just common sense, apparently.

Just like giving convicted terrorist al-Megrahi a hero’s welcome when he stepped foot back in Libya isn’t fanfare for terrorism, but rather a condemnation of the man’s actions.

Yes, thank God we have men like Gaddafi to protect us from terrorism, eh?
