Six Soldiers Die In Afghanistan In Deadly Attacks
January 11, 2010
It is the deadliest day in two months, and the deaths of the soldiers come just after a BBC poll showed that 70% of the country feels that things are moving in the right direction, a 30% increase from Afghanistan civilians who believed so last year.
Of the six killed there were three Americans, one Frenchman, and the other two’s nationalities have not yet been released.
This brings the total death count to 15 for 2010, a depressing figure as he head further into a war that has no end in sight.
The increasing death toll is due to the changing methods of insurgents, who have started using different attack styles, more powerful bombs, and more aggressive attacks.
