Secret Military Hideout of Kim Jong-Il Found In Mountain
January 22, 2010
North Korea (ChattahBox) – North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-Il has excavated a secret compound in the side of the mountain his palace sits above, which be plans to use in case of an invasion or guerrilla campaign.
“This whole region is historically significant to the entire regime because this is where Kim Il-Song, Kim’s father, staged his guerrilla campaign against the Japanese during the occupation in the early decades of the last century,” said a report coming from the Kanwa Information Centre’s Hong Kong bureau.
“We believe this would be the last place that the present regime would retreat to and try to conduct a campaign such as we are presently seeing in Afghanistan.”
The hidden base is also close to China’s border, where it is believed he would escape if need be.
China has in the past stated that they would offer Jong-Il and the others in his regime sanctuary if needed during an attack.
The threat of an invasion or uprising is a valid one.
North Korea made a number of threats and missile launches last year which many feared would make a military defense necessary.
As their continue to be incredibly hostile and oppositional, the regime’s fear of a joint attack between the U.S. and South Korea becomes more real.
But rather than cooperate with UN attempts to resolve the situation with diplomacy, they have prepared for the worst case scenario while continuing to flaunt their military power.
