British Airways Employee Charged As Terrorist

Rajib Karim, a British citizen originally hailing from Bangladesh, worked as as an information technologies developer for the airline.
He is believed to have sent money regularly to terrorist forces in Yemen and Bangladesh, as well as offering to find suicide bombers before becoming one himself.
He is believed to have been committing these acts since 2006, and has been described by prosecutors as “a very dangerous individual”.
The trial started with with a 15-minute hearing, where Karim confirmed his name and date of birth, but otherwise refused to speak.
He is described as showing no emotion, and he did not enter a plea.
In addition to the main charges, he has been accused of giving travel advise to other terrorists, using his knowledge of security procedures with British Airways.
His next hearing has been set for the 26th, in London.
