Thai Protesters Threaten To Throw Blood On Government Buildings
March 15, 2010
The protesters, known as ‘Red Shirts’, have been calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, and for the current parliament to be dissolved.
They have begun to gather blood that they plan to throw on government buildings if their demands are ignored.
Vejjajiva has responded via a television statement, where he refused their call, and claimed that he would listen to them, but would not give in to threats.
While the protests have been peaceful, the economy is suffered as they continue.
