Britain Expels Israeli Diplomat Over Dubai Hamas Killing Uproar

(ChattahBox)—- The fallout from the killing of a Hamas operative in a Dubai hotel, allegedly by a team of Israeli Mossad agents, has now reached the United Kingdom. The unknown agents captured on a Dubai hotel video used stolen or cloned European passports, including ones from British residents. And officials from Britain’s Foreign Office decided to take the extreme step of expelling an Israeli diplomat from the country.
According to a report by CNN, “The Israeli Ambassador to the United Kingdom was summoned to the Foreign Office Monday.” And an Israeli diplomat was subsequently expelled from the United Kingdom in connection with the cloning of British passports.
The identity of the Israeli official expelled from the UK has not been released.
Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, a high-ranking member of Hamas’ military wing, was found dead January 20 in his Dubai hotel room.
Dubai authorities have issued warrants for the arrests of 26 suspects believed to be responsible for the assassination of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh. The Hamas leader was drugged with a muscle relaxant, before being suffocated to death.
