Top Boxer Found Dead In Cell Days After Murdering His Wife

Venezuela – Edwin Valero, considered to be one of the most promising talents in the boxing world, was arrested Sunday for killing his 20-year-old wife in a hotel. This morning, he was found hanging in his cell by a rope made of his own clothes.

Valero is said to have had an extensive history of domestic abuse, and this weekend it led to the tragic murder of his wife, Jennifer Viera in a Venezuelan hotel room.

According to police officials, Velero left his hotel room in the middle of the night and told security guards that he had killed Viera, and that her body could be found upstairs.

When police arrived, they found Viera dead of three stab wounds, and arrested Valero.

This morning, they found him dead in his cell of suicide.

And so ends the story of Edwin Valero, in what has been one of the most shocking stories to rock the boxing world.
