amanda’s parents shud understand that she has to prove her innocence in the court of all, NOT ON A PUBLIC TELEVISION. AMANDA’S PARENTS ARE PROVING MORE TO THE WORLD THAT THEIR DAUGHTER IS GUILTY BY DONUNG SUCH A THING. UPTO NOW AMANDA HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO PROVE HER INNOCENT IN THE COURT OF LAW, SO GOING ON PUBLIC TO PROVE HER INNOCENCE IS REALLY A “CRY BABY’ . PUBLIC IS NEITHER A JUDGE NOR COURT OR LAW, PUBLIC DOESN’T DECIDE HER FATE. THRU OUT THIS CASE SHE AND ESP HER PARENTS INSTEAD OF FOLLOWING LEGAL PROCEEDINGS AND ACCEPTING THIER GUILT HAVE BEEN DONING ONLY ONE TING: PROPAGANDA AND OMLY PROPOGANDA1 THIS TV INTERVIEW WILL BE NOTHING BUT A PROPAGANDA OF HER INNOCENCE, WHICH IN THE COURT OF LAW HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE FALSE. JUST ADMIT OR PERHAPS APOLPGIZE OF UR CRIME, MAYBE THE APPEALS COURT WILL FEEL SORRY FOR U. GIVING SUCH INTERVIEW WILL ONLY IRRITATE THE VERY PEOPLE WHO HAVE AND WILL BE DECIDING UR FATE. INFACT U HAVE NO RITE TO GIVE A TV INTERVIEW GIVEN THE WAY U BUTCHERED THAT GIRL. U ARE LUCKY TO HAVE A TV IN UR JAIL HOLE. REALLY ITS PROVEN THAT U AND UR FAMILY ESP ARE THE MOST DESPICABLE SCUM BAGS ONE HA EVER SEEN

I think it is a good idea-the judicial system here and the judicial system in other
countries are so different.Unfortunately we as americans did not get to see this trial the way we did with O.J.
I firmly believe there was not only a rush to judgement with amanda but some prejudice within the italian judicial system.
(ie she was an american, she was facing many old school views and ways of life, she came from a wealthy family etc)
She has every right to tell her side of the story-I do not believe the court trial pro
ceedings allowed her to do so.Or gave her a fair chance to do so.
We also have witness who are now waffling-they admitted their guilt now they say they are not and that amanda is not guilty either-well which is it?
I believe we can and probably will learn alot from her interview and will be able to tell much better one way or the other if she is guilty or not guilty.Only time will tell

Robertm some italian prejudice against amanda? do u realize that Raff is not half but pure italian! U say she dint get a chance in legal proceeding, so she shuld have a chance on tv to prove her innocence/ what a joke!, Pal Suspects in a murder case dont come on TV to prove their innocence, THEY DO IT IN A COURT. Which obviously she has failed in doing so. Public is not a judge or court or law. They dont decide her fate, APPEALS COURT WILL. I dont know if u know after recieving the verdict, she told the interviewer in jail, ” i had a fair trial and was treated fairly”. Even American consul person present during the trial “no unfairness in the proceeding” She is guilty and will surley lose her appeal. In fact she has no rite to give tv interview , because she is convicted of butchering her roomate like an animal. She is lucky to have a TV in her jail hole where she belongs—-a fate well deserved

Amanda has to prove she is innocent as opposed to the prosecution being required to prove she’s guilty? What a slap in the face of justice. Once local law enforcement beat her down into making a false confession there was no turning back. It would be an embarassment to them to admit they were wrong. That is a terrible and shameful reason to send an innocent girl to jail for life.

She had plenty of opportunity to tell her story during the initial interrogation. What story is she going to tell now, another version where a space ship landed and some thug extra terestrials entered the flat? With knives. Actually that story has a better chance than the one she is trying to tell.
