Cumbria Shooter Killed His Twin Brother In Shootings

UK (ChattahBox) – The man who went on a shooting spree that killed twelve people and himself, seems to have killed his twin brother as part of the massacre.

David Bird, a 52-year-old father of three and the twin brother of Derrick Bird, was found dead in his home.He appears to have been gunned down before Bird went rampaging through the streets of Cumbria.

The motives of the shooting are still unknown, and police are investigating what might have set the cab driver off.

According to a police statement:

“The focus of the 100-strong squad of detectives investigating the incident is firmly on finding out why someone would want to take so many lives in such a short space of time. Officers and staff are conducting forensic evidential searches and tests across the area at each location.”
