Former Iranian General Confirms Country Digging Mass Graves For US Invasion

August 11, 2010

Iran (ChattahBox) – Former Iranian General Hossein Kan’ani Moghadam confirmed in an interview this morning what Iranian press was reporting last week: Iran is digging mass graves to prepare for a possible U.S. invasion.

Hundreds of empty graves have been prepared in the Khuzestan province, an isolated region that was used to bury Iraqi soldiers after the war against Saddam Hussein’s regime in the 80’s.

According to the general, the country is convinced that an invasion from the U.S. is on the horizon, after Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman Admiral Mike Mullen admitted that we are prepared for a military strike if the need arises. It was a statement that followed various sanctions placed on the nation to discourage their nuclear program.

Video footage has shown the graves, and statements from the military warned that Iran would begin attack military bases in other areas nearby if an invasion was imminent.
